Ceramica Cielo’s new Filo project, designed by art directors Andrea Parisio and Giuseppe Pezzano, represents an evolution in bathroom furnishing design. Characterised by clean lines and a modular concept, this linear washbasin with undermount is defined by impeccable aesthetics and uncompromising functionality.
The fulcrum of the proposal revolves around the spacious and comfortable bowl of the washbasin from which the countertop extends, available in ceramic or in the precious White Carrara or Black Marquina marble versions. The more linear variant of Filo starts from a washbasin with a wooden rim – in natural wood or lacquered – and shelf, and then articulates into a more structured model with a large storage drawer. In this model the cabinet doors have integrated handles, horizontal or vertical, which with exciting simplicity creates interesting geometric plays.
A version is also available that gives Filo a design that stands out for its stylistic elegance: in this model, the front door is composed of wooden slats, that protrude a few centimetres, guaranteeing a comfortable grip for opening the drawer.
Completing the design is the container mirror that features the same integrated handle as the washbasin cabinet, creating a visual harmony that extends beyond the single element.
Filo, due to its extreme modularity, is a project at the service of the design world and the contract housing and hotelier sectors: this cabinet has in fact been conceived to enable the various 90 cm elements – available in both the washbasin and countertop-only versions – to be combined seamlessly.
In addition to its distinctive aesthetics, the Filo washbasin cabinet stands out for its functionality. The large and resistant ceramic countertop offers sufficient space to organise bathroom accessories while the cabinet edging protects against splashes of water.
Filo is also available in two brand new glossy shades Talpa and Fumo with neutral but warm tones that enrich the already wide range of Cielo colours, offering the possibility of playing with new combinations of matt and glossy.
With the introduction of Filo, the company continues to lead innovation in the bathroom furnishing sector, demonstrating its extraordinary ability to mould ceramic material and offer the market a product with high added value, multiple facets and an extremely recognisable design.
