Abeno Hoop, designed by SPaCe in Osaka, is a vibrant retail and cultural complex that redefines the shopping experience in the Abeno district. The building stands out for its fluid, curved forms and a façade featuring light panels and burnished metal, creating a visual landmark that fits harmoniously into the urban fabric.
Inside, broad organic pathways connect shops, cafés, and a modular theater, placing the visitor at the center of a seamless and engaging experiential journey.
The design is based on a neutral palette punctuated by accents of burnt red and matte orange that guide circulation. The use of sustainable and durable materials—such as certified timber, spatulated concrete, and porcelain stoneware—ensures both a refined aesthetic and low maintenance.
Luminous ceilings and LED details accentuate display areas and the top-level observation deck, where the city skyline becomes an integral part of the architectural experience.
For the restroom and wellness areas, SPaCe specified Ceramica Cielo products to ensure top-tier quality and contemporary design. Ceramica Cielo’s superior materials and sophisticated finishes integrate perfectly with the complex's interior surfaces, providing an elevated sense of comfort.
