Cielo is a premier partner for the exclusive Marchesi Antinori Winery in Chianti Classico, an enlightened architectural project designed by Marco Casamonti of Archea Associati. Located between Florence and Siena, the winery is an underground masterpiece celebrating over six hundred years of winemaking history.
The design fosters a constant dialogue with the Tuscan hills, merging terracotta, wood, and Corten steel to create a seamless synergy between archaic nature and modern industrial productivity.
To meet the project's unique demands, CIELO provided a bespoke "Arenaria" enamel from the Le Terre di Cielo range. This specific finish, inspired by the warm, evocative brown tones of the Chianti soil, offers a soft and reassuring tactile experience.
The freestanding Le Giare basins and the Smile collection washbasins act as sculptural elements that integrate perfectly into the winery’s interior, particularly within the iconic tasting rooms suspended over the barrel cellar.
CIELO’s involvement in such a culturally significant project highlights the brand’s ability to deliver tailored contract solutions. Through a highly specialized supply chain where expert craftsmen manually finish each piece, the company avoids industrial standardization in favor of uniqueness.
